the Stuff just Leaks out...

*this site belongs to an incest survivor, and deals with the sexual abuse of children.*

Besides being a massage therapist, I am an artist. When I'm not being one of those two things, chances are I'm writing. I also do essays and poetry. I've chosen a few of my personal favorites to share with you.

I hope you enjoy them. Take care.
May peace and happiness find its
way into every heart,

Naked Truth, by TDH

I am just as I stand before you-
As I am and nothing else
No hidden agendas
No secrets to be kept
Without the comfortable coat
Of the way things could have been
Nor am I dressed in dreams
I stand before you raw-
To the bone...
Naked, in truth
And nothing more than I

Daisy, Growing

For Us, by TDH

I am the Small
the Weak - the Forgotten
hurt by your "love",
and the lack of it
I am the pain of the SHADOWS
that does not heal
hidden so carefully
AND NEVER GOING AWAY
I am the Dreams
of the Broken and Shattered-
pieces, brightly colored
SMASHED TO GLASSY BITS
I am the life
of the Voiceless and Crying
BLED of LIFE
and living to Death.

The Perfect World, by TDH

In the perfect world
The righteous would prevail
Instead of endure,
And the oppressed of all sorts
Would be freed.
Periods of pain, sadness, and suffering
Would be followed by
Intense bouts of happiness, joy, and comfort.
No one would hunger, be sick, or unloved
And not one child would feel lost or confused.
Not one life would pass
Unnoticed for its worth,
And we would all be grateful
For the possibility.

Don't Clam Up On Me, by TDH

Tell me quickly, little clam,
How do you like your shell?
An inviting habitat or
Is it really Hell?

The Story of Two Dogs, by TDH
(for Cassie, who likes my stories)

Once there were two dogs that rode around with their tongues hanging out licking air just because they liked the way it tastes.
THE END.

MORAL: Never underestimate the tastes of a dog with its tongue hanging out.
